The Hyundai i10 is a hatchback car designed to be driven comfortably in a city. It is identical to the Hyundai Santro, which is also a hatchback car. However, the i10 is more spacious than the Santro and has many new features. The features include electric windows, ABS, rear defogger, rear wiper, etc. As the i10 is launched in many markets including Indian and European markets, the features and variants may vary. The demographic and geographic conditions make any car company change the features and specifications in order to adapt to different markets.
The Hyundai i10 has achieved great success mainly in the Indian and European markets. As per sources, Hyundai has shipped more 1.2 million units of the special edition known as the ‘i10 iTECH’ to celebrate i10’s sales success from the Chennai manufacturing plant in India. In Europe, it has four different versions with a 1.0-litre engine viz. Classic, Style, Comfort and Eco Blue Version. In India, the i10 is available in five variants: D lite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. These variants consist of petrol and LPG options with different engine capacities.
