Difference between Cute and Handsome

Key difference:  Cute reflects the attractive quality of a person, while the word handsome is concerned with the perfect physical look and posture of a person.

Cute expresses the pure beauty and attractiveness of any subjective thing. When complimented, it makes one feel pleasant and happy. It is just the pure beauty with sweetness and kindness. In fact, it is not necessary that a cute person must have highly attractive features with splendid beauty, however, purity, sweetness and simplicity is the criteria for calling a person “cute”.

According to the Collins Dictionary the word ‘cute’ is defined as:

“appealing or attractive, esp. in a pretty way”.

Handsome is used for a human being on behalf of his or her high attractiveness, good-looking features, well-proportioned body along with good health. It reflects the dignified and pleasant appearance of a being. Generally used for both genders, but usually used to express beauty of men and their attractive personality.

“good looking esp. in having regular, pleasing and well-defined features”.
