Difference between Google and Google Chrome

It is Google’s core product, and was the company's first creation. Google Chrome, on the other hand, is a freeware web browser, similar to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc.

In order to do so, Google provides numerous products and services. It is especially famous for its Internet-related products and services, such as its internet search, cloud computing, software and advertising technologies. However, most of its revenue is not generated from these products and services, but from advertising revenues, especially generated from AdWords.

Google has also launched its Google Fiber broadband Internet service project in beta mode in Kansas City. Many people even consider Google to be synonymous with its search engine.

It displays various webpages, which is how it allows someone to surf the web, view online content, such as blogs, videos, images, etc. It is what we use to access our e-mails, and our favorite social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter.

 

Google launched Chrome as a beta version for Microsoft Windows on September 2, 2008. The stable public release followed on December 11, 2008. According to StatCounter, as of September 2012 Chrome had 34% worldwide usage share of web browsers making it the most widely used web browser.

 

Google has faced exponential growth as a company, mainly due to its products and its particular care for user accessibility. Google has been estimated to run over one million servers in data centers around the world. It has also been estimated to process over one billion search requests and about twenty-four petabytes of user-generated data every day.
