Difference between Greek Yogurt and Regular Yogurt

Key Difference: Greek yogurt is just strained regular yogurt and it is strained several times, probably three times or more than that. On the other hand, regular yogurt is also strained, but is strained once or twice.

Yogurt basically is a cultured or a fermented dairy product, which is fermented with lactic acid bacteria. The products like soy milk, nut milk such as almond milk, and coconut milk can also be used as a product called yogurt. It is healthy, and people who all eat yogurt have certain vitamins and minerals that are needed for best functioning.

Nowadays, there are varieties of yogurt. One is regular yogurt and the other one is Greek yogurt. Usually, many are confused between both regarding which one is better.

Greek yogurt is nowadays into public interest because it has more proteins than regular yogurt. Regular yogurt is less creamy than Greek yogurt, thus many people prefer to have it in breakfast. Both, regular as well as Greek yogurt are exceptionally good. Both are rich sources of calcium, are full of protein, help in digestion with live, beneficial bacteria, and are low in calories.
