Economic Growth vs Cultural Growth

Economic growth refers to the increase in amount of goods and services that is produced by a nation’s economy over a specific period of time, most commonly a year. Cultural growth refers to an increase in the different cultures that are a part of a nation. Cultural growth cannot be calculated in terms of a year or so, as they take around a decade or more in order to grow.

Sensations are things in our environment that are registered by the five major sensory organs. Sensation is what we see, hear, smell, taste and feel. Perception is how we interpret these sensations. Perception helps us make sense of our sensations.

Globalization is the process of international integration, where in the world is getting closer and more ideas, view, products, thoughts and culture are getting exchanged. Capitalism is an economic system that is based on private ownership in terms of production and the creation of goods or services for profit.

Delusion is a condition where a person holds on to a belief even if strong evidence suggests otherwise. Hallucinations are perceptions that take place in the absence of a stimulus. They are perceptions that happen in a conscious state in the absence of external stimuli and they have qualities of real perception, meaning that they are vivid and substantial.

Sex is more commonly used to refer to the biological anatomy of a person. It is how the person was born. Gender is the role or differentiation that is created by the society. Gender is influenced by the culture and the society that a person is born in. Gender differs depending on the country, state, culture, religion, etc.
Left Brain vs Right Brain

Left-brain performs functions such as language, logic, critical thinking, numbers and reasoning. The right side performs functions such as recognizing faces, expressing emotions, music, reading emotions, color, images, intuition and creativity.
Habit vs Addiction

Habit is a behavior pattern developed by frequent repetition of the act over and over to the point the brain does it automatically. An addiction is a compulsive need of a certain thing or substance to the body, which when deprived causes horrible effects. A habit can be controlled or modified, while addiction cannot be controlled and requires professional help for modification.
